Come along to the Arts Workshop on Friday 16th July for a night that will get everybody onto their feet! The event will raise money for Worcester Music Festival 2010.
The Whole Caboodle is a high energy electric ceilidh band based in Worcester in the West Midlands. The band is made up of five musicians with a wide range of musical tastes and experience, who take common delight in sharing their skills, enthusiasm, and passion for live music using high quality instruments and amplification.
The band plays old and new folk tunes and teaches dances from all over the British Isles and beyond. The dances have been passed down for hundreds of years - why?? Because they are easy to do and are great fun!

BridgeBash is a music and beer festival set in the heart of the beautiful Teme Valley in rural Worcestershire.

WORCESTER MUSIC FESTIVAL

Worcester Music Festival is an annual event started in 2008 to support and encourage live, local and original music in Worcester. It is staged in pubs, clubs, cafes, and historic buildings around, or near the city centre.
The festival events take place at over 30 venues, with a line-up in the region of 130 bands and musicians.
Entry to the majority of venues is free of charge, but there are a few exceptions. The Festival is a non-profit making event run by an enthusiastic team of 25+ volunteers, largely local musicians or people associated with the Worcester music scene.
Not only does it provide a showcase for local musical talent of all genres, but it provides education and professional development opportunities through a variety of workshops and clinics. In addition, money is raised for local charities by way of a raffle, donations, collection buckets at the venues and merchandising sales.

COUNTRY FAIR and HORTICULTURAL SHOW 2010
Saturday and Sunday 11th and 12th of September 2010
The two day show will be open from 10 AM to 5.30 PM on Saturday and from 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday.
The two day Country Fair and Horticultural Show will be held in the grounds of the RAMADA hotel (post code DY12 1LA) on the B4190 Habberley Road between Kidderminster & Bewdley (just past the main Hotel entrance going towards Bewdley) and will feature the following events:
This is the 56th show and will be bigger and much improved from previous years.
The show will be opened at 12 noon on Saturday by Dr Richard Taylor.
The show will as usual be a traditional floral, fruit, vegetable, wine and craft show with prizes awarded by a panel of judges.
There will also be a CRAFT FAIR of about 20 different stalls.
We will have displays of cars and a display of old agricultural tools.
Other stalls include - Garden Furniture, Arctic Spas, Pottery, Garden ornaments, Walking stick carving, Medieval display, Children’s Victorian round –a-bout, and many other Country side type stalls.
There will also be a PLANT SALE, RAFFLE, GARDENERS QUESTION TIME FLORAL ART and COOKERY DEMONSTRATIONS, MILITARY VEHICLES. WYRE FOREST RE-CYCLING TEAM, WYRE FOREST DOG RESCUE. GYPSY CARAVANS, CLASSIC CARAVANS, BLACKSMITH DEMONSTRATION, CHAIN SAW CARVING.
Sam Pagett will be performing on both days
Reasonably priced LUNCHES, SANDWICHES BBQ & OTHER REFRESHMENTS including HOME MADE CAKES will be on sale all day.

The novelist Evelyn Waugh was a frequent visitor to the house when the Beauchamp family lived here, both of whom are said to have inspired his book Brideshead Revisited.
It is surrounded by parkland, which is famous for its displays of daffodils at this time of year.

Upton upon Severn Folk Festival celebrates its 21st Birthday over the May Bank holiday from Friday 30th April until Monday 3rd May 2010, which takes place in the town of Upton Upon Severn.
The festival will have over 50 Morris and other dance sides plus ceilidhs, concerts, workshops, craft fair, music and song sessions, musical meander in the foothills of the Malverns, street theatre, a grand procession, and even a duck race.

U2-2 were formed in 1993 by current members under the name ''Achtung Baby''. Since the ''90''s, the band have performed over a 1000 shows across the world and been featured on many TV & radio shows, including a performance alongside U2 at the Feyenoord Stadium in Holland. The band are look-a-like, sound-a-like and recreate all of U2''s hits from the ''Boy'' album, right up to ''No Line on the Horizen''.
Last year alone, U2-2 promoted Blackberry''s latest cell-phone & gigged in Sheffield''s Meadowhall, as part of the 360 tour experience, where many people thought it was the real thing, as both BBC 1 & ITV 1 lined up to interview the band. This tribute band boast the best in authentic equipment to recreate U2''s sounds and the look is so close to the real thing, that the security at Feyenoord Stadium led the band into U2''s own changing rooms by mistake! U2-2 were formed in 1993 by current members under the name ''Achtung Baby''. Since the ''90''s, the band have performed over a 1000 shows across the world and been featured on many TV & radio shows, including a performance alongside U2 at the Feyenoord Stadium in Holland. The band are look-a-like, sound-a-like and recreate all of U2''s hits from the ''Boy'' album, right up to ''No Line on the Horizen''.
Last year alone, U2-2 promoted Blackberry''s latest cell-phone & gigged in Sheffield''s Meadowhall, as part of the 360 tour experience, where many people thought it was the real thing, as both BBC 1 & ITV 1 lined up to interview the band. This tribute band boast the best in authentic equipment to recreate U2''s sounds and the look is so close to the real thing, that the security at Feyenoord Stadium led the band into U2''s own changing rooms by mistake! It is U2-2''s first time at Malvern Theatre & the band are looking forward to giving U2 fans an amazing night.
