Description
Currently closed for major refurbishment. Due to reopen in May 2012.Welcome to the Vernon Arms, a quaint 17th Century freehouse pub set in its own 26 acres of rambling countryside in the village of Hanbury.
Renowned as the "Birthplace of the Archers". The creator of The Archers Godfrey Baseley often drank in the pub and many of the original characters are supposedly based on inhabitants of the village.
