Welcome to The Old Bull, a black and white half timbered Tudor listed building situated in picturesque surroundings in front of the church by the village green in Inkberrow. One of the most photographed pubs in England dating back to the time of William Shakespeare who is reputed to have stayed here while on his way to Worcester to collect his marriage certificate.
Records show it has been a pub since 1750, it still retains the charm and olde worlde feel today with its stone flagged rooms and oak beamed ceilings.
The Old Bull's present day claim to fame is that it represents the fictional "Bull" at Ambridge in the BBC Radio 4 serial The Archers . The pub contains plenty of Archers memorabilia, following visits by members of the cast.
The Old Bull retains its sense of history and its identity as a rural English pub, where log fires, candles, wine, ale straight from the cask and good food combine to add to your welcome.
A variety of Lunchtime and Evening dishes are available plus a Specials Board and Traditional Sunday Lunches with a choice of meats and home made desserts. All meals are home made using fresh local produce where possible.
A selection of fine ales are served such as London Pride, Wye Valley HPA and Black sheep Bitter.
Regular Theme Nights are also very popular.
