Bed & Breakfast Accommodation
DescriptionWelcome to Hardwicke Farm - Althea Meredith and her family invite you to enjoy a stay at Hardwicke Farm Bed and Breakfast.
A traditional farmhouse B&B situated in a rural village, on the beautiful Shropshire and Worcestershire borders. The 16th century farmhouse offers comfortable accommodation in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Guests access their ACCOMMODATION via a private entrance into a traditional flagstone hallway.
The spacious double bedroom is located upstairs and is fitted with a wardrobe and dressing table. Facilities are en suite and a hairdryer is provided. The room has a light and airy feel thanks to the soft pastel shades of the decor and the lovely view of the grass fields beyond. A cot is available on request.
The sitting room is situated downstairs and offers a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms are centrally heated but guests often comment on the warm and cosy atmosphere generated by the open fireplace.
An ironing board and iron are available on request and off-road car parking space is provided.
Our hearty farmhouse BREAKFAST is made from locally sourced produce and home made bread, and provided at a time to suit you. We also cater for vegetarian and other special diets and ask that you inform us of your requirements at the time of booking. A highchair is available on request.
We do not provide evening meals, however The Fighting Cocks Public House is located just under a mile away, in the centre of Stottesdon village. This friendly family pub offers a comprehensive menu at very reasonable prices.
The delightful SURROUNDINGS of Hardwicke Farm may be enjoyed from the many public footpaths which run through and around the grounds.
Hardwicke is a working farm and comprises approximately 100 acres with the main enterprise being Texel sheep.
The farm is located in Stottesdon; a small rural village which is well situated as a base from which to explore the historic towns of Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Bewdley. The Brown Clee and Titterstone Clee Hill are just a short drive away and offer magnificent views of Shropshire countryside.
Walkers, ramblers and cyclists may also wish to visit Cleobury Mortimer, which offers routes through spectacular upland and woodland scenery, for all abilities.
The cities of Worcester and Hereford are also within easy travelling distance from Hardwicke Farm B&B
