Description
Jane and Rob extend a warm welcome to The Royal Oak at Kinnersley, a traditional village pub.Offering a rotation of Real Ales, good home-made & home-cooked traditional pub fayre, and En-Suite Bed and Breakfast Accommodation.
The Royal Oak was built in the 18th Century to serve as the laundry to nearby Croome Park Estate, home to the earl of Coventry whose gardens were the first commission for Capability Brown.
The pub today combines aspects of the old and new, with the bar area featuring an original open fire, whilst the dining area is situated in the recently built conservatory.
There is also an outside seating area and we are dog and walker friendly.
The main menu is changed at regular intervals to provide variety and fully utilise produce currently in season and therefore at its best. We also have a "specials" board and separate lunchtime and Sunday lunch menus.
All ingredients are sourced both fresh and locally wherever possible, and all food is prepared and cooked on the premises.
Home made food served:
Monday to Saturday 12pm-9pm
Sunday Roasts 12pm-4pm
A fine selection of wines are available together with our real ales. We also offer a selection of locally produced bottled ciders plus a range of lagers and spirits including malt whisky and a quality brandy.
Soft drinks are available, as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
We have three en-suite bedrooms, which have recently been refurbished. The rooms are located in a detached block to the rear of the pub and have their own parking spaces.
Located in the village of Kinnersley, South Worcestershire - just 3 miles north of Upton upon Severn near to the National Trust's Croome Estate.
The Royal Oak provides an ideal base for those of you exploring the area or visiting one of many nearby events such as one of the famous Upton Festivals, an event at the Three Counties ground or Cheltenham Races.
The Royal Oak has earned a truly excellent and well deserved reputation in recent years and customers old and new can be assured that the Royal Oak will continue to live up to this reputation for years to come.
