A warm and friendly welcome to The Red Lion at Powick, set in beautiful rural surroundings close to the River Severn and River Teme.A 16th Century building which dates back to Oliver Cromwell and the battle of Worcester.
The buildings were used as a field hospital in the battle and Powick Church nearby holds the scars of the battle.
This popular pub has recently been taken over by Dave and Lin Day who have revitalised the interior and given it a fresh contemporary feel with its curved granite bar and new furnishings, its originality has been respected and its history retained with the large fireplaces and beams.
