Welcome to the Country Girl, the best place in Worcestershire to eat, drink and relax in beautiful surroundings. Set in stunning countryside with its own expansive garden, the Country Girl is the place to dine this year.Recently re-opened under new ownership, the Country Girl is an old fashioned pub with an emphasis on quality. All the vegetables are sourced locally and come from true organic suppliers. The meat comes from ‘Partridge's’ who provide produce from their own farm.
All the team working at the Country Girl have one aim, to make your time here the most enjoyable it can be, every time you eat we want you to feel special.
The bar at the Country Girl is the ideal place to relax with a pint of local ale, or try one of our well sources wines from all corners of the world. Come in on Friday for a drink and nibbles which are served at 6pm. You bring yourselves and we provide the atmosphere and food. The perfect way to end a week’s hard work!
Not only has the chef designed our superb menu with local produce, we also specialize in fresh fish.
You simply choose a fish along with one of three amazing accompaniment.
All our fish is delivered fresh and daily from St Mawes, Cornwall. This ever changing specials board offers everyone a taste of the sea in the midlands.
Because we make everything on the menu ourselves, we can tell you exactly what is in every dish. Any member of staff can help you through our choices. This can be done here at the pub as all food is cooked fresh to order to ensure quality food in a pub environment.

Traditional Roast available Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
Head Chef Colin Watkins and his team will be cooking the best regional produce that can be offered here in North Worcestershire and the surrounding area. We also have an ever changing fish board; all our fish is delivered to us from St Mawes in Cornwall. We thoroughly recommend leaving room for dessert and try one of our house-made Ice Creams or Sorbets. If you are still reading this and want to take our advice, the Black Pudding, Tomato and Poached Egg starter is our favourite, yummy!
