Welcome to the Casa Portuguesa - Beautiful ceramics from Portugal and other countries.A most delightful little shop stocking as its name suggests authentic hand painted items from Portugal.
Chris Hurst fell in love with Portugal many years ago and has a second home there. When shop premises came up in Tenbury she couldn't resist bringing the flavours of Portugal home to Britain for people to buy and brighten their homes. Chris is now in larger premises and has a firm spot in Teme Street with a vibrant shop frontage.
Trips to Portugal over many years keep Chris in contact with the suppliers she has established and the well priced ceramics and tableware that are irresistable to lovers of a touch of Europe.
Visits to Northern Portugal, the Lisbon area and the Algarve have made her familiar with the different regions, their varied handicrafts and lovely handpainted ceramics, many of which you can see in the shop.
