Description

Tiltridge Farm is situated in the Severn Valley approximately one mile west of the attractive riverside town of Upton-upon-Severn and close to the Malvern Hills. Offering Bed & Breakfast accommodation and local wines from a thriving Vineyard.

Tiltridge Farm offers 4 Star Silver Award Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the farmhouse.
Three en- suite bedrooms - two double and one twin. Two of these rooms can take one extra bed each for a family and all have their own TV, tea making facilities and free wireless internet.
Downstairs there is a big sitting room with a large inglenook fireplace and a separate dining room for breakfast. Every effort is made to use locally sourced produce - the bread is from Upton, the apple juice comes from the fruit farm next door, the sausages and bacon are from Worcester and the eggs, jams and marmalades are home produced.
Outside there is a south facing terrace to enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of wine.

The vineyard itself is a small family-run concern which began life in the late 1980's with the planting of three grape varieties on 1.5 acres of land, with a fourth variety planted in 2004.
Tiltridge Vineyard produces quality and regional award winning wines, both still and sparkling, named after the composer Edward Elgar who is closely associated with this area. The wines are clean, fresh and fruity, typical of the English style.

Visitors are welcome to the vineyard during opening hours and can enjoy a free tasting of award winning wines in the vineyard shop. If the weather is good relax on the terrace with a glass or bottle.

Vineyard Opening Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year)

Directions to Tiltridge Farm:
From the centre of Upton turn down New Street at the HSBC Bank. After ½ mile bear left up a bank and find us on the left after a further ½ mile. There are brown tourist signs on all nearby main roads.
