Amidst the splendour and tranquillity of the Worcestershire countryside, located at The Masons Arms Country Pub & Restaurant, lies a new and exciting dining experience, combining the 'true taste of Thailand' with contemporary dishes designed to suit every palate'.The Masons Arms is a typical old English country pub hiding a gastronomic secret, set in the heart of rural Worcestershire with stunning views over the Teme valley. The food is created fresh to suit all tastes, from mouth watering dishes like The Masons Duck, duck breast on a bed of crispy noodles, or Gaeng Khaio Wan traditional Thai Green curry. A wide array of seafood dishes awaits the hungry diner, plus a good selection of vegetarian dishes are also available.
Wednesday nights are music nights, with a different band or singer every week, ranging from folk to rock or swing to blues, offering a different style to keep everyone happy. Every Sunday "Thai Buffet Lunch" with 20 different dishes letting your taste buds walk around Thailand.
We have a separate dining restaurant tastefully decorated and able to seat around 60, a lounge with soft comfortable leather bound armchairs to peruse the extensive menus and a traditional country pub bar where we serve bar snacks or lunches.

WHAT I have always loved about the Masons Arms since I started going a few years ago for my fix of delicious Thai food is that the food has been consistently tasty.
The popularity of the country pub and restaurant at Wichenford, near Worcester, never seems to dwindle.
Whenever I visit, a good number of diners and drinkers are always enjoying themselves.
When you enter the restaurant you are greeted by staff dressed in authentic traditional Thai costume, which is a really nice touch. However, the service on this occasion at first seemed to be slightly disorganised.
At first, my three guests and I were left standing at the bar, but we were soon taken to a sofa to enjoy some prawn crackers and tried desperately not over-order on the food as is generally the case when we all get together.
Soon, we were shown to our table in the restaurant area, which felt very comfortable and inviting, as we waited for our food to arrive.
Despite there being quite a few people already in the restaurant – and a large table set to arrive – our food arrived swiftly and it was piping hot, too.
For our starters we enjoyed a tasty selection of tod man pla – deep fried home-made fish cakes served with a sweet chilli dipping sauce (£3.95), satay gai – deep-fried marinated chicken served with a Thai peanut sauce (£3.95) – and my favourite, the vegetarian option of por pia – crispy spring rolls stuffed with vegetables and vermicelli noodles, served with a plum sauce (£3.75).
All of this was quickly devoured as we all assured each other we “hadn’t eaten” all day so we had room for our evening’s feast.
For my main course, I went for the koong med muang – king prawns stir fried in the chef ’s special sauce and served in a crispy rosti potato basket, topped with cashews (£7.50). This tasted fresh and was a good-sized portion. The flavours worked well together and the accompanying sauce wasn’t too overpowering.
My guests had a beef panag – slices of meat cooked in a Thai red curry sauce (£6.95) – which I was assured was very tasty but not too hot; a chicken pad gra prao (stir fried meat with a light soy sauce, £6.80) and a beef ped pad gratiem (stir fried roast beef with garlic and topped with black peppercorns £8.50).
We also opted for a side dish of pad kee mao – stir fried egg noodles with vegetables, egg and chilli basil sauce, £4.50) – which was so tasty I could have eaten it as a main course.
Needless to say, all plates were virtually clean when the waitress came to take them away. All of the food was very well presented, even down to side trimmings and miniature roses carved from vegetables.
For dessert – and I really don’t know how any of us managed to fit these in – we each had a halfcoconut full of coconut ice-cream (£3.50). It was a perfect end to a quite delicious meal.
