Description
The Fleece Inn is a fifteenth century timber framed mediaeval farmhouse now owned by the National Trust.The Inn nestles on the edge of the Cotswolds within the picturesque village of Bretforton, lying adjacent to the beautiful church of St Leonard’s around the village square.
An historic quintessential English Pub with a Medieval Barn and Orchard Garden set in an idyllic country village.
BAR
The Bar of The Fleece Inn is without parallel in terms of its overall character. The low timber beams and welcoming atmosphere take you in as soon as you enter and most visitors agree "it is very difficult to leave!"
For years The Fleece has been noted in particular for the quality of its Real Ale. This results in yearly entries in the Good Pub Guide and awards such as the Camra regional Pub of the Year.

Eddie and Frank Thomas return to The Fleece Inn sharing stories from the American South, filtered through the hearts, minds and eyes of two ageless baby boomers from Mississippi.
Armed only with guitar, bass and Southern accent, Eddie and Frank return to The Fleece Inn to take us on an American journey of story and song.

St GEORGES DAY ASPARAGUS FESTIVAL LAUNCH DAY
Monday 23rd April Early Morning
This year's annual Asparagus Festival will be launched from the Fleece Inn on St Georges day. To celebrate the start of the Asparagus season in the Vale and Launch the British Asparagus Festival 2012 Gus the Asparaman will be transporting one of the freshest and largest rounds of the season by tractor to Stratford where it will be presented to a local celeb! GORDON GILTRAP CHARITY GIG

Gordon Giltrap returns to The Fleece Inn again this spring. His live gigs sell out everytime and once again this April all money raised will be donated to the Tracy Sollis Leukemia Trust. Giltrap is a brilliant folk artist with a timeless sound.
DAN CASSIDY and JAMES HICKMAN

James Hickman and Dan Cassidy are a newly formed transatlantic folk and roots duo. Dan Cassidy (USA), provides an exciting array of fiddling renditions, while James Hickman (UK), brings his driving guitar playing and wonderfully unique interpretations of songs to their mixture of new and old folk music.

WEDDINGS AT THE FLEECE INN
The sixteenth century thatched barn offers a unique and unusual venue for functions, and holds a civil wedding ceremony licence, with a capacity of up to 50 people for the ceremony and up to 80 for less formal receptions.
Whether it be your wedding ceremony, your reception, or both, we are able to cater for your wedding.
From the traditional standard, to mediaeval banquets to hog roasts and anything in between.
Here at The Fleece Inn we pride ourselves on the attention to detail required by such occasions and happily go out of our way to ensure your big day is truly memorable for all the right reasons.
Our medieval barn is available to hire for all types of functions.
